Citizens For Change, Inc. is a Not-For-Profit Corporation located in Wichita, Kansas. Though located in Kansas we are aware the problems families face are not unique to just Kansas. Indeed they are global. We are an organization comprised of volunteers who are committed to the endeavor of Family Advocacy. While we realize there are true instances where a child should be removed from their homes we find that most times this is simply just not the case. We provide moral support for families that find themselves "caught in the system".

Our mission is to work diligently for reform of the system that causes far more harm than good to children and families. Our goal is to educate and inform families on what to expect and as to what "can" happen while dealing with the courts, the attorneys, the child protection agency and its private contractors. With the education comes the knowledge thus giving the families the ability to "take control of their cases" and hopefully have their children returned to their home and/or biological family as quickly as possible. We strongly believe a child should at the very least be placed with their biological family not with strangers. A child’s world is totally destroyed when all things familiar are removed from their existence.
